Parvanas Journey Part two

Parvana, Asif and Hassan now walks together to find Parvanas mother and her siblings. After a while they run out of food and are starving. Then they find a little village and Parvana takes a job for a man living there. He promises them that if she cleans his chicken house he gives them some food. Parvana cleans the cage and sees some eggs. She remember’s what her dad had told her about stealing and she leaves them.

When she was done with the cleaning, the man gives her a small pot of food, not enough to even feed just Hassan. Parvana gets angry because that they didn’t got more food. Then she sees the eggs in the chicken house again. She thinks that he would’t get mad because he already got much food, he even got a house. Thats why it should not be such big sorrow for him to lose an egg or two, or a chicken. She sneaks inside again and grabs a chicken and some eggs and then she runs out again. That evening they ate roasted chicken and boiled the eggs. The next day they continued their traveling. They travel for another while, becoming more hungry for every day. Asif keeps teasing Parvana saying that she’s weird and weak.

To prove that she’s not weak Parvana suggests that they should hold a stone-throwing contest. Asif agrees and they start. They are quite equal to the start but Parvana then throws a really far throw which suddenly explodes on the ground, they are in an mine field!

Parvanas Journey

The book is written by Deborah Ellis. Its about a girl named Parvana. She’s a refugee in Afghanistan when the war with the talibans. After her fathers death, she lived some time with a kind man who gave her food and water. Parvana telled him that she was a boy and therefor she is allowed to stay. One night, one of the girls tells her to run away because the man is going to sell her to the Taliban’s as a slave. He thinks that they are going to pay him money. Parvana is given some food and water and she leaves. She’s walking for some time before her water supply runs out. She meets a women who’s just sitting still making odd sounds. Parvana tries to talk to her but she’s just ignoring her. She tries to wave in front of her and she scream but she’s like a zombie. Later she notices that the woman is dying, she has lost all hope and is just sitting waiting for death. She then reach a bombed town. There is no one alive but a small baby. Because the baby might die if she leaves it she takes it with her. Good company anyway, she thought and gives him the name Hassan. After that she saw some Talibansoldiers and ran away as fast as she could. She travels for some time and later finds a cave. She thought that she might get some cover in there but when she was on her way in she heard a shout saying: “Get out of my cave!”. Later she finds out that the voice came from a one-legged boy. He is very angry in the beggining but later he gets a bit friendlier because of the food Parvana gives her and he follows her “Just to be irritating and to take care of the baby, Hassan”.

My Dream job

My dream job is to be a comedian, because i think that it would be very fun to travel around the world, making people laugh. A stand-up comedian sounds like someone who travels around Sweden, or somewere else just to tell jokes.

Mini-Comedian school:

 If you want to be a comedian you should be able to make people laugh. There are two known ways to make an performance.

 The first: You practice your own performance and practice and practice etc. Then you make a performance somewere to a small or large group of people/animals. (even if they won’t laugh) Then let them give you credit for what you did do or bad. If you bring in to many swearings then it wont be fun. There is no limit for how funny it may be. But if they die laughing…well then it may be to fun.

The other way: You just step in to the spotlight and start inprovising. It may be a bit hard sometimes but if you keep practising much then you will learn. You can even dub (dubba) TV programs or movies. You can make own humour movies. If you don’t like performing, then just skip it and practice just for fun.

I want to be a comedian because it’s fun. I have always loved making people laugh and smile. My friends usually call me “funny”. Even the teachers thinks that and keeps telling me. Anyway… I think it’s cool.

My special friend

I’m going to tell you about a very special friend of mine. His name is Jonathan and he’s been my best friend since we were around 4 years old. We became friends because we played together and liked the same thing. He’s very kind, cool and always know what to do, almost. He’s special because I have known him for so long and he’s still my best friend. I hope that he thinks the same of me. If I want to keep him as a friend, I have to be kind and understanding. Sometimes he’s very irritating and is even teasing me. When I’m talking to him about computer games and things like that, then he’s serious but when I’m talking about some occurrents he’s always pretending that I’m insane or something in that way. When we are outside in the city or just walking he’s always pulling odd pranks which he sometimes don’t understand himself. In school he’s just a talkative friend, who loves to talk about different films or games. Often Halo or Battlefield. He’s allergic to most chocolates. Before he was allergic to milk but it’s somewhat better now. He likes PC more than Mac… Even if I think that Mac is better! He doesn’t have any animals but he’s got an own computer in his room. All I got is a TV without any channels at all. But I got an own sofa! Beat that! His house is bigger than mine because I live in an apartement. He has got a small garden, I have got a cactus. (?) He’s got a sign on his door saying: BEWARE OF THE SCORPIONS. He has no scorpions, but he thinks that it sounds cool.

Anyway, He’s my best friend ever.

Maple Story

Maple story is a computer game that I love.

I discovered it by Sebastian, who heard about it from Felix Hård.

Maple story is a online game and is really big. I started play Maple story at 2006.

Here are some facts about Maple story: The first version of Maple story was the Korean version. It came the 29th of April 2003. There are several jobs you can take in Maple story, those are: Warriors that are good at close combat, Thieves who uses throwing stars or daggers, Bowmen who uses bows or crossbows with arrows, and Magicians who uses magic to attack his enemies.

There are several cities in Maple story, those are:  Lith harbor, Henesys, Perion, Ellinia, Kerning city on Victorian island, and Orbis, Ludibrium, Aquarium, Omega sector, Korean folk town, Mu lung and Herb town on Ossyria.

Bowman, Thief, Magician and Warrior are called first job advancement. There are also second and third job advancement. The second job advancemen to Bowmen are Hunter and crossbowman. The second job advancement for thiefs are assasin and bandit. The second job advancement for magicians are wizard firepoison or wizard icelightening or cleric, for warriors it is page, spearmen or fighters.

Grotesco

Im gonna write about a swedish TV comic serie called Grotesco.It is different stories every week. I love Grotesco because it is so very very FUN!The first programe was about…A portal to Gothemburg year1973 has been opened in Stockholm and the goverment of Sweden has to act.The first try is to let the marines handle it.They are to enter the portal and lay bombs……somewhere.It ends in a failure.At the second try, the natives of Gothemburg enters and makes the marines lay down their weapons with a song.Later the natives of Gothemburg enters Stockholm and pushes the globe to roll through the city.If you want to watch it you can go to svt.se and search for Grotesco.Grotesco is on TV Wednesday half past nine.      WATCH IT!!!   

Septimus Heap

Septimus Heap is a book that I think is really good.

The first book is called “Magyk”.

It is about the family Heap, the dad Silas Heap finds a little girl in the snow outside the castle where they live.

At the same day Silas and Sarah just got there 7th son Septimus Heap, who died.

The family takes care of the girl with violet eyes and they name her Jenna.

Later they discover that an assasin is after Jenna.

Yet later the OverMagician Marcia comes to take Jenna with her to defend the princess: who is Jenna!

The family must travel to aunt Zelda in the marsh.

Septimus Heap is written by Angie Sage. There is now three books out.

Some good films

Here are some films that I think are good:

Planet of the apes: Planet of the apes is a serie that I think is really good.
It is about the astronaut Taylor and his two friends who land with a space ship on an unknown planet.
Later they find out that there is primitive humans living there.

Spirited away: Spirited away is one of the best movie that I know.
It is about a young girl and her family that moves to a new town and a new school. Outside the new town they lost there way and comes to a tunnel.
On the other side of the tunnel it is beautiful…Then they arrive at a mysterius city with restaurants all over the place.
The girls parents stop at a restaurant and start eating the food. When no owner comes, the girl goes for a walk in the town.
She sees a bath house, but at the bridge to the bath house she sees a boy.
He seems angry and tells the girl that she should not be there.
She runs back while the sun goes down, then shadows and weird creatures come from every house and resturants.
When she finally scared find her parents they transformed into pigs! Spirited away is made by Hayao Miyuzaki.

The core: The core is a good movie.
The story is: the core of earth stops rotating, and that causes catastrophes all over the globe.
The only chance for humanity is some persons going down in a… eeeh… drill machine, you can call it.
And use Atomic bombs to make the core rotate again.
To their help they got a…eeeh..drill machine made of a new explored metal with a super strong laser to reach the core.
The core is a pretty scary movie I think but also good.
